| Operation Descritpion: | At H & E Braunvieh, we focus on providing our clients with the finest full-blood Braunvieh and purebred (All Swiss) cattle available. Our goal for the past six years has been to establish quality Braunvieh females for registered breeders and registered bulls for the commercial cattle breeder. |
2 Bar Rockin K
| Operation Descritpion: | Our cattle are held to strict standards for feed efficiency, health, and reproductive ability. It is our mission to provide bulls that will maximize productivity and profitability for the commercial cattlemen with emphasis on high carcass value. Braunvieh have proven time and time again through longevity and hanging carcasses that they are the breed for the future. |
La Muneca Cattle Co
| Operation Descritpion: | We have also started an elite POLLED Brahman herd. There are not many POLLED Brahmans and our challenge is to breed some that will help the entire breed. |
McBee Cattle Company
| Operation Descritpion: | Every animal at McBee Cattle Company, bull and female , are measured from birth to yearling for growth and ultrasounded for ribeye and marbling quality. The measurements we use are the ones that we feel are important for commercial beef producers to use to improve their bottom line. The bulls are developed on a high fiber diet with no corn, and the heifers are developed the same way on grass. We feel this is the best way to handle the cattle so they can be measured and compared in an environment similar to where they will spend the rest of their lives. |
MJ Cattle Company
| Operation Descritpion: | Our cattle operation is in the high mountains of Encampment, Wyo., where elevations range from 7,200 feet to 9500 feet. Our 250-head cow herd is comprised of registered Maine-Anjou cows, commercial Braunvieh X Black Angus cows, as well as fullblood and purebred Braunvieh cows. We started to use Braunvieh cattle in 2003 when we bred our Angus-based cows to Braunvieh bulls. We liked the thickness and the maternal qualities of our Braunvieh-influenced cattle so much that we decided to start a Braunvieh seedstock herd as well. |
