A squeeze chute standing stock, or simply stock is a strongly built stall or cage for holding cattle, horses, or other livestock safely while they are examined, marked, or given veterinary treatment. For the safety of the animal and the people attending it, a close-fitting crush may be used to ensure the animal stands “stock still”. The overall purpose of a crush is to hold an animal still to minimise the risk of injury to both the animal and the operator while work on the animal is performed.

The Model 750 is the first hydraulic chute designed so the chute sides close completely from top to bottom instead of the scissor-type action currently available. A “live” bottom is naturally built into the closing action of the chute. The operator controls how hard cattle hit the headgate by limiting the chute width, significantly reducing the risk of bruising. Powder River’s, new for 2017, HC2500 chutes are heavy duty, fully featured, and hard working. The 2500 series of chutes contain the power to be exactly what you need in a squeeze chute. The 2500 series of chutes are the result of Powder River’s ongoing determination to increase the efficiency and safety of cattle working.
The 2500 Series chutes can be ordered in a Standard Model, a Deluxe Model and everything in the middle with optional features that can be configured at the time of purchase.
